Ways to practice positive self talks!

So from here the first question to be asked is WHAT IS SELF-TALK?
-As the word itself says talking to the self which can either be mentally or aloud. We always do this may it be knowingly or unknowingly, good or bad, we are telling all day long about ourself. Now depending upon whether you are saying it in positive words or the negative, it has its effects accordingly. Like if it's positive, it will surely motivate you and is it's negative will then limit you.
Okay!, we will understand this with the help of an example.
Suppose you visited any work related party and there you cracked a joke in front of your colleagues but no one actually found it out to be funny. Then what do you tell yourself after going back from the party? Do you have thought that "it was better to have just kept my mouth shut?" or do you tell yourself "No big deal, atleast i put some effort out there and tried my best?".
Now there are many versions of the self talk here.

Like you will hold yourself back from saying too much because of the fear of embarrassment or making yourself feel bad if did as earlier. Likewise you may develop an aversion to social situations because now you fell insecure about your interactions with the others.
- The second version of self talk will allow you to give yourself a try again. Its like telling yourself to just be a human and thereby interact with others. Every-time we cannot be on the spot with the humor and social interactions most of the time, but it's fine to give atleast a try.
Here are some of the tips to provide yourself with positive elf talks:
- Be grateful: The best way to create a positive self talk is to recognize the things in your life which you can be grateful for. As it will help you improve your attitude.
- Do not compare yourself to others: Almost all of the humans are constantly comparing with what they lack and others have and by this you are easily letting yourself down. This will directly lead to producing negativity about your own life. Instead, it's better to concentrate on yourself and live it more happily.
- Usage of positive words with others: It's like if we are negative with our words with the other people, there is a high chance of possibility to use negative words for ourselves too. Always remember that "Positivity breeds positivity and vice versa. So, choose to be positive for yourself and others too.
- Don't have the fear of failure: Failure leads to success. Hope you are aware about it! If you keep fear with yourself it will always hold you back. So tell yourself to try and try no matter how many times you fail.
- Never live in the past: Never be too hard to yourself. You should see and understand that there are many people who has suffered the hell kind of life. Everyone have their own past and also bad things in their past. Never make your past to come in the way to your present. Because what is ahead is far more important than what has happened already.
You should and must always respect as well as appreciate yourself and your ability.
